I live in KC and we can go to a local grocery store and get tickets fora bout 7 bucks cheaper than at the stadium. I am going to St. Louis and wanted to catch a game while I’m there. Is there a similar program in St. Louis by chance? Anyone who lives there know about any?

But Cardinals have a crowd in the outfield and GM says it’s unlikely they’d go for free-agent slugger

If so, then I have a question. At the top of the 9th inning, the St. Louis Cardinals catcher Stinnet, went to talk to the pitcher Isringhausen so while he was doing that, ESPN showed some stats for pitchers for Cy Young award or something like that (I can’t remember) and all of a sudden the crowd starting roaring and the commentator casually mentioned that a fan had gotten onto the field and they had security out there. Does anybody know what happened? Or did I hear him wrong? I’m just curious to know what the fan was trying to do. Because right afterwards the Cards made a pitching change so I wasn’t sure what was going on. Any information would be great.

Haha that kind of makes sense but is funny that he did that. I bet he drank a little too much beer.
Haha too bad you fell asleep. The game had a GREAT ending. Made up for the rest of the boring game.
I totally agree with you Glen! I was thrilled to see Ankiel get that triple. The poor guy didn’t deserve that stupid New York journalist to be like that. I’m actually glad Pujols’ single didn’t become a homerun because otherwise Ankiel may never have come up to bat because they may have won sooner.

I am a true Cardinal fan but the way they have been playing lately makes me ask. Does anyone think they will make it to the playoffs this year?

Aaron Heilman needed a change of scenery after his struggles last season with the New York Mets. He has gotten it. Twice.

I rememebr it was an error by the 3rd baseman, and the cardnials sent a letter to the commission of MBL asking that the earned runs be takenoff of his record…. did they ever rule on that? It means about 12 point for me in my fantasy league. thanks

After months of stalled negotiations, lefthander Andy Pettitte and the New York Yankees agreed Monday to a $5.5 million, one-year contract. While the guaranteed money is less than half of New York’s original $10 million offer, he can make an additional $6.5 million in bonuses: $4.5 million based on innings and $2 million based on days on the active roster.

and the St. Louis Cardinals have just gone fifteen grueling rounds for the Heavyweight Championship of the World in the National League.
Would it be fair to compare Albert Puhols and Scott Rolan of the Cardinals to a fresh Placido Polanco and Magglio Odonez of the Detroit Tigers?
Do the Tigers have an edge on the Cardinals because they are the better team or the well rested team?
Who’ll win the World Series and who’ll get the MVP in the World Series?
Your thoughts…
